Congratulations on your successful application for a Youth Work in Trades (WRK) Scholarship. To redeem your scholarship, please ensure the following requirements are met:

Valid scholarship

WRK Scholarships must be redeemed within 3 years of being approved. To check the status of your scholarship, refer to the date on the email confirming your successful WRK Scholarship application.

Your enrollment and tuition status

You will need to provide the Ministry of Education and Child Care with documentation confirming you are enrolled in a post-secondary trades training program that is approved by SkilledTradesBC. This documentation is often called a Confirmation of Enrolment.

Collection of Personal Information

To process Youth Work in Trades (WRK) Scholarships, students’ personal information will be collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Section 26(c). Students’ personal information is used for the purpose of verifying eligibility, selecting successful candidates, and processing the scholarship payment.
