Aquatic Invasive Species

Includes the detection of high-risk watercraft and equipment to prevent the introduction of invasive zebra and quagga mussels into BC waters.

Dumping

Includes the illegal dumping of construction debris, industrial/business waste, waste oil and other chemicals, household garbage, sewage, vehicles, furniture, appliances, electronics batteries, or paints.

Fisheries

Includes angling offences, illegal guiding or damage to fish habitat.

Forest Practices

Includes forestry operations, range use, recreations sites/trails, forest service road construction/use.

Heritage Conservation Act

Includes damage to archaeological / historical sites cultural features.

Land Act /Unauthorized Use of Crown Land

Includes squatters and unauthorized structures built on crown land.

Open Burning

Includes burning waste, burning industrial or construction waste, burning prohibited materials, and smoke-related issues.

Pesticides

Includes use of rodent baits or poisons and the spraying of chemicals, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, or and fertilizers that may contain pesticides or toxic chemicals (i.e. Round Up).

Off-Road Vehicles [ATVs, motorbikes, snowmobiles]

Includes: no insurance or plates, no helmet, operating in a closed/sensitive area, access management areas (AMA's), environmental damage, or mud bogging, sensitive grassland/riparian area.

Waste

Includes violations which involve a facility / business operation that would likely require a permit to operate (e.g., sewage facility, composting operations, slaughterhouse, mine, pulp mill, sawmill, landfill, etc.).

Water

Works in a stream, water diversion and foreshore access.

Weed Control

Invasive plants, noxious weeds.

Wildfire Act

Includes violations related to campfires and fire restrictions, as well as arson.
