The workshop will consist of presentations, discussions and activities.
Proposed Objectives:
- Examine the relationship between Business Continuity and Recovery to support economic resilience in a post-disaster context within the Metro Vancouver region.
- Identify linkages between Business Continuity and Economic Development to understand local, regional, and provincial priorities and key issues post-disaster.
- Define roles, responsibilities and relationships between Emergency Management, Business Continuity and Economic Development to inform recovery planning.
- Provide a collaborative forum for professionals from business continuity, economic development, emergency management and others to establish relationships and discuss sector specific networks.
